A Short Story

A young graduate attended a community meeting to discuss a development project. Many of the people present could not speak English fluently, but they spoke Twi. Because the graduate could communicate effectively in Twi, he gained the trust of the community and successfully led the project. Sometimes opportunities come not because of what you know, but because of how well you can connect with people.

What Is Twi?

Twi is one of the most widely spoken Ghanaian languages. Studying Twi helps students understand language, culture, communication, traditions, and the history of Ghanaian societies. It also strengthens speaking, writing, reading, and communication skills.
